Brianna Vollmer, Youth Advocate
Brianna has joined the SRPS staff after volunteering as a mentor/Running Leader for the past four years. For more than a decade, Brianna has been coaching young athletes and honing her passion for youth development.
Brianna holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Maryland: one in English Language and Literature and a second in Secondary English Education. She began her teaching career in South Carolina through Teach for America and later returned to Philadelphia to teach. Brianna’s experience with adolescents in the classroom and on the field drove her towards a career in juvenile justice. Recently, Brianna earned her Juris Doctor from the Temple University Beasley School of Law. Upon graduation, she was recognized for her public service with the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Pro Bono award and admittance to the Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society.
