Amy Lackpour, Institutional Giving Manager
Amy joined the staff of Students Run in October 2016. She brings over 7 years of experience working within community public health, initially as a Recruitment Coordinator on an exercise-based intervention study at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Epidemiology and Biostatistics. More recently, Amy was a Program Manager for a nutrition education program at the Health Promotion Council. As a Development Coordinator, Amy assists with fundraising and expanding the reach of Students Run Philly Style. Alongside the Students Run staff, she helps to cultivate new relationships with partners and foundations to sustain and grow the program.
Amy earned a Master of Public Health degree from Temple University in 2005 with a community health focus. While there, she worked with children and families enrolled in the City of Philadelphia’s Division of Maternal, Child and Family Health’s pediatric obesity clinics to promote healthy behaviors and reduce the rates of childhood obesity throughout the city. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University where she majored in English and Psychology.
