Christopher returns for a new role on the Students Run staff in July of 2019 as a Program Manager after serving as a Program Assistant while in college. As a Program Manager, Christopher will support the teams taking part in the Marathon Model by managing participation in events and races throughout the year. He will serve as a point person for organizing programmatic special events and volunteer opportunities, as well as recruitment, mentoring support, and training.
Christopher graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in Tourism and Hospitality Management with a concentration in Event Management.
Prior to Students Run, he has worked in youth programming and management throughout the Philadelphia area with a focus on engagement and brand image. In addition, Christopher has had his hand in hotel and cruise ship operations within the customer service and housekeeping departments.
As an alumnus of Students Run Philly Style, Chris has accomplished four full marathons while running with his high school team, West Catholic. However, the Steeplechase is still one of his most memorable races to date.
Favorite Students Run Event
Christopher’s favorite SRPS event is the Leadership Summit that is held every summer. He enjoys participating in the engaging activities that focus on team bonding and personal growth.
