Ethan Chen joined the Students Run as an Intern on July 2nd, 2019. He is a junior currently attending Science Leadership Academy @ Center City. He has been running with Students Run since 7th grade. Ever since, running became a major part of his life.
Ethan ran the Blue Cross Broad Street Run four times, and ran his first marathon on November 18, 2018. He ran with the Penn Alexander team and now currently running with the Science Leadership @ Center City team. In total last year he ran more than 149 miles with Students Run. He is also involved with two other sports: Cross Country and Ultimate Frisbee. He has also played the piano since 3rd grade. Ethan is still undecided about what he is doing in the future, but for now, he enjoys being with his friends, playing video games, and of course, running!
Favorite Students Run Event:
Broad Street and Marathon day because of all the hard work paying off and the excited crowd cheering while you run. I enjoy the end of every race when my friends and family wait for me at the finish line and cheering on my friends who are finishing the race.
I can’t run without…
My music, my run tracker, my phone, and motivation.
